Ideal for the family this half-term, the Mote Park Fellowship are proud to present an open air theatre on Sunday 17th June 2018 of The Reluctant Dragon - great for families of all ages.
Heavily subsidised by our volunteer group, we've managed to keep ticket prices minimal at only £6.00 per adult and £4.00 per child (under 16) - we're pleased that these arts are available to all.
The show will take place beside the Water Sports Centre, on a natural bank overlooking the lake. Ice creams will be available.

“You’ve got to fight him some time or other you know, ’cos he’s St George and you’re the dragon…”
When a boy finds a dragon up on the Downs he’s not in the least surprised. He's always known the cave there was a dragon cave, so it seems only right for a dragon to be living in it. But this particular dragon is not a bit like the ones in fairy tales - this one writes poetry and doesn’t like fighting!
However, it’s common knowledge that when there’s a dragon you call for St George and, with a dragon in the neighborhood, the towns folk are expecting a fight. Can the boy come up with a clever plan to save his friend and convince the townsfolk to accept him….?

The Reluctant Dragon runs for 1 hr 20 mins including a 30 minute interval.

A limited number of tickets are available to book online at ticketsource.co.uk/mote-park.
Parking will be available on the day in the main car parks - charges apply. From there you can walk around the lake and to the Water Sports Centre.
A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available nearer the event. Please contact us directly if you require these.
Donations will be accepted by the group on the day should you feel the event was enjoyable.
